Sie haben ein neues Baby: Zum ersten Mal findet am 11.9. im Kaufleuten Club nämlich die Partyreihe Glam statt. Und dahinter steht Mato! Und zwar komplett. Und wie immer setzen Sie auch hierbei nur aufs Beste vom Besten. Und und und…!
Will heissen: Neben ihren zwei Mato-Männern Vincent Sky und Mike-L stehen an den Turntables auch DJ Tremendo und Yves Larock! Ja, das ist der mit dem Welthit “Rise Up” (über 8 Millionen Youtube-Klicks). Und genau der wird neuer Resident-DJ der neue Partyserie. Der Yves ist nämlich Schweizer und kommt drum nun – ganz exklusiv – regelmässig in seine Heimat. Natürlich wird die neue Party etwas elektronischer und housiger als Mato – aber die Hauptsache ist doch: Wir wollen und werden feiern wie eh und je, von Züri für Züri, exzessiv, feuchtfröhlich und ausgelassen.
Wenn so ein grosser Abend vor der Tür steht, lassen wir uns die Chance mit Yves zu sprechen und ihn zu fragen, was er persönlich vom morgigen Abend erwartet und welchen Track er unbedingt spielen möchte, nicht entgehen:
“I’m really excited about mixing in Switzerland! Especially in Zurich and even more for me, playing in Kaufleuten because it’s such a cult club. But probably above all, I’m most excited about playing @ GLAM with my friend DJ Tremendo, it feels like being at home already!
This will be the first time I’ve ever played at Kaufleuten on a Saturday so I’m really looking forward to it and have been going through all my tunes to make sure I put the best set together and give the people as much fun as possible. I have big faith in the Zurich crowd, they always know how to party! Plus of course I’m looking forward to having fun myself!
The one track that I can’t wait to drop is my new one. It’s called ‘Girl’, I produced it with my good friend Tony Sylla and we managed to get Tara McDonald to do the vocal, it’s a fantastic party tune with some amazing remixes, it’ll be out in November on Spinnin Records but the reactions I’m getting back so far for it from international radio stations and my DJ friends has been very positive. I’ll also be trying out some new remixes of my track Until Tomorrow, this will be the first time I’ve dropped them anywhere so Glam is in for a very special treat indeed! I’ll see you there!”
